If you end up with a spare left taillight I'll be glad to take it of your hands...

I would love to get on from a UK spec Polo so I can get reverse light in both sides :)
Il let you know a few days mate whether im going to sell the spare rear lights :)!

Charlie_GTI wrote:Hi Greg, the wheels look great, what did u use... It's on my agenda to sort my very corroded bbs's and wanted a few tips. How long did it take you?
Thanks mate :) I split the wheels, hand polished the rim and had the centers sprayed at a wheel specialist. For the rims the process consists of starting at 120 grit wet & dry, then 240, 400, 600, 1200. You can then polish them by hand (autosol, luster pad etc) or use a machine polisher :) It takes about a day if you really crack on with them!

It's definitely worth it 8)

Further progress with my rear light mod 8)

Using some clear Hella LED rear lights, i took the LED boards out of them to use in my rear lights..

Similar to the one's 'tegwin' use to make but the official Hella ones 8)

Going to get them put into my rear lights at some point this week and get my bro to wire them up :) The back of the light will be cut, and it will be slotted in position :)

In other news, I am going to look into getting something unique made for my headrests...keep your eye out 8)

Greg's Progress Thread :) - Updates !

Post by benmkiv »

Thought this might be what it was! ;) I'm tempted to make my own boards for my brake lights for the black Hella LEDs I have on mine! Seems a waste of the lights considering what some people will pay but good effort! ;)

Haha ;) I reckon you should do it mate 8)

The lights were broken - there was a hole in the face of the light, so they were of no use 8)

Greg's Progress Thread :) - Updates !

That's alright then!
I wanna just far too lazy if I'm honest. Would mean making up the boards myself and everything I just don't have the time with work and uni.

Looks great Greg. Have you got bigger brakes on your gti?

Look forward to seeing how the lights turn out.
