Guys my car just came out a service today

my mechanic said that the thread is weak on the sump plug and will need rethreading

i just wanted to know, does anyone know the cost of a new sump and sump gasket kit? just to see what the costs are in comparison to re threading it

Sump and gasket kit are aroun £80-100. Get the thread heli coiled by a mechanic, use a fiber washer and the sump will be sealed effectively.
