cupra console bushes

Post by onlydiesels »

i`ve just got a pair of seat cupra wishbone/console bushes for my 9n,,,has anyone fitted these, and could anyone tell me which way they go in..ie..one side of the bush is recessed so does that go to the front or rear of the housing, and also on the bush, there is a white line about 1" long on the recessed side, around the edge of the circumference where the rubber meets the outer sleeve,am i right in thinking this is an alignment mark..but what does it line up with?
any help would be great.

ok,thanks...the bush seems to be symetrical all the way around so really unsure what the line is for, although the hexagon shape that the arm pin goes into must be set at a certain angle so as not to put undue stress on the bush when the arm pivots through it up/down travel movement..prob sounds a lot more complicated the way i`m explaining it :?
i`ll try to post a pic..
