Do you notice a decrease in radio reception?

There seem to be conflicting reports...

I hve done mate. But I hardly listen to radio anyway and do live on the isle of wight.

The signal on the stubbys is terrible where I live but i'm sure they are better in built up area's.
Depends if you actually like listening to the radio I guess :)

I have an s2000 ariel and don't have a problem finding stations at all.

I had one of the tiny ones on mine for almost a year and could only get local radio, so had the ipod on all the time.

Recently got a genuine polo 6R one, which is a bit bigger than the stubby but still loads smaller than the standard bee-sting aerial. Signal on this one is brilliant.
