Lived in Sheffield and Southampton when I had the Ibiza. 2001Y Imperial Blue Cupra. Absolutely cracking car, a hoot to drive, looked stunning, very fast, amazing tuning potential.
It broke down on average once every 2 weeks that I had it on the road. Eventually rejected it through the finance company.

Ive got the Seat Leon Cupra R 225, you think yours was nice and quick to drive you should go and test drive one of these babys believe me you will never want another car. Unfortunatley it goes soon due to me and my ex breaking up. He owns part of the car and i own like £13'000 of it so its a b***h and i cant afford to pay him off the rest and insure it so
its going. I used to have the Ibiza Cupra but couldnt get on with it, didnt feel safe at all, the drive for me wasnt that safe but hey i am a women after all
Yeah, I love the LCR, but price of the car and the insurance made it not feasible for me currently (22, 1NCB). To be honest, for the money I'd probably choose a Civic Type-R anyway, or even a Jap import new-shape Integra Type-R - more my kind of car (sorry!)
The Ibiza was a bit lethal round the corners as standard - stock handling was a bit tail-happy to say the least! Could be sorted for not too much cash though. If it hadn't gone wrong I'd have done that.
Sorry to hear you're losing the Leon
