when considering lowering you also put strain on other parts of the suspension system i.e bushes dampers, shocks absorbers, bushes, top mounts etc... best to consider getting a suspension kit coil overs are cheap cost you more in the long run as other parts of the suspension. if your going to keep the car for a long time get a full suspension kit if not then best to just get coilovers depends how much your bushes are worn aswell

H&R are on offer

£155 inc VAT and delivery just for springs

I'm at USC this year again

I used to run Eibach 30 mm springs on my GTi, but it hardly looks lower than standard I found :(

Yeah it feels a bit stiffer and handles a bit better but looks pretty miuch the same as your only taking it 15mm lower than you are now, not 30 mm

The same springs are used on the standard polo, so the "30 mm" drop is from standard, the GTi is already lowered 15 mm, so the overall drop for you will only be 15 mm

I ended up changing them for coilovers after a few weeks

save up mate and get coilovers be a waste getting springs as you wont really see the difference and you will want it lower within a few hours of looking at your car with the springs on! lol

25mm still quite a bit though mate ;) coilovers ftw! give it some time and you'll wish you had them its part of owning a vw coilovers and slammage. also your tdi wouldnt come 15mm lower like the gti's or sports.

Hi. I am new to this site. I purchased lowering springs 30mm and they made no difference to my car. I advice to get coilovers.
I also went to USC at Santa pod this year, i did the 1/4 mile and got a 14.3 which isn't that I'm a girl.
Good luck.

It's a tdi sport! I need a little clearance as the boot is often full of gear or kids in the back! It sits nice but it Certainly ain't slammed to fleck lol!!
