I can't seem to burn mp3 CDs to play in our polo 2008 factory fit cd
Tried about 5 different CDs they are maxell cdrs tried different ways. What am I doing wrong guys?

I think you need to set your burner to write them as audio CDs, not Mp3 CDs. Aftermarket headunits can usually play mp3 written CDs. On Itunes the option comes up when burning a CD, if you select audio you are limited to 80 minutes of audio (around 12-20 tracks) as opposed to 700mb of data (mp3), so fewer tracks per disc unfortunately.

what software are you using to burn? i used itunes and found no issues on the last 3 cds i've burnt:S

I think you actually downloading your CD's in WMA format (Windows Media Audio), which will not work on the Polo MP3 player. Try to change your Window Media ripping settings to MP3 or try downloading a free WMA to MP3 convertor.
