engine coolant sensor fault

Hi,

Have got this code on the my Sons Polo 1.2 6v

1 Fault Found:
16500 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Implausible Signal
P0116 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0100


I am having some difficulty finding the location of this sensor. Ringing around some places are tellin gme it is the sensor in the Radiator, but surely that is the Radiator FAN swicth and not a coolant sensor.

Can anyone assist please as to where this sensor is located ??

its fitted on the plastic block on the rear of cylinder head above gearbox (grey sensor)
