Anti roll bar removal

Hi,
I need to replace the anti roll bar on my 1.9 tdi 9n as it has a crack in it.......do i need to lower the subframe or will it wriggle out without needing to dismantle anything (other than releasing the arb fixtures)

Yup it is a subframe out job am afraid
