Revo Stage 1
Is there any point? Many gains? Warrenty issues? And will it wear the clutch with more added torque? Thanks!
Re: Revo Stage 1
I assume it's on the new polo gti going by your user name ?
Doubt very much there will be cluth issues
Revo are a bug company and I would assume they would map it with in the peramiters of the clutch turbo etc
Warranty is another thing though. If they work out it's been mapped then no warranty
The hand held devices for removing and adding the map are worth every penny in this case
Good luck with the remap and hope you see good results

Contact them via email, they are based in Greece. Absolutely awesome service. Speak to Stelios and tell him that I recommended you
They send you an obd2 cable and their software and then you flash it via the obd2 port

Re: Revo Stage 1
For anyone considering tuning the Polo GTI, especially those that fall under MY 11.5 spec and later, you CANNOT FLASH THE ECU. The newer, Bosch Motronic MED 17.5 updated unit is 98% anti tune, even APR here have had to re-release their tuning software due to the MY update and corresponding ECU update.
The ONLY way to tune one of these cars currently is to do a full ECU removal and bench reprogramming.
Only Revo, SM Tuning, DNA Tuning, APR Australia and Viezu, plus a Belgium based tuner have cracked the ECU, out of those, only Revo and APR can have switchable maps. APR have also just released stage 2 tuning.
Power figures are pretty generic, around the 150kw mark with Torque up to 300Nm, over 132Kw and 250Nm from standard. APR have just released stage 2, quite a big step over the stage 1 tune.....
For more info on the APR product (I am not affiliated in any way, i'm actually not really a fan of them as a company, they don't like being straight up with customers) see here:

Re: Revo Stage 1
Went to Revo HQ today to get an update on my Mk5 Golf GTI track car and test drove their development Audi A1 with the 1.4TSI Engine / 7 Speed DSG, it was running stage 2 with a turbo back Milltek and was really surprised by the difference, pulled soo much better than stock and made a great little noise
So much so I am booked in for mine to be done on Monday
