over the last few weeks ive noticed abit of oil leaking from the right hand side of my rocker cover.on closer inspection it looks to be coming from the 2 cicular covers on the end.ive been to vw and ordered the replacement o ring seals for behind them,but to remove one of them you have to remove the dizzy.is it just a matter of unbolting and refitting the dizzy after after or will this effect my timing?

GTI's dont have a distributor, they are electronic
