Window Regulator Fix - Now Window goes up slow??

Having taken apart my Drivers Side Regulator I found another variation on "alexperkins" original fix, using 2 tap washers.. Which seems to have worked!

HOWEVER, on my Passengers side window, both 'clips' seem to be fine, but when you press the switch (on both sides) all it does is:
Makes a 'Whir' noise for half a second then a 'Duh!' and stops.. Does this pressing the button up or down..

I've checked all the Fuses, and the Wiring for Voltage and Continuity (Especially checking in the Rubber between the Door and Body..) All seems OK..

I tried a little gentle pressure on the glass, but it does nothing.. Any ideas?

AND.. How do you get a Regulator 'Out' if the Window is stuck in the 'Up' position as you can't undo the glass mounts..??

This is the ONLY fault with my now car and it's really bugging me.. Any HELP.. Please!!

Take the door card off and check you havent unplugged the tweeter or knocked the cables out when removing previously.

Anyone know if there is a Manual Over-ride or how you can remove a Regulator that's stuck in the 'Up' position?!

Any suggestions or advice welcome!!

The Passenger Side Window Regulator had stuck..



Finally got the Regulator out..



And checked out all the Internals..



Checked everything, cleaned and greased and tightened and the Regulator started working again..

Now the Passenger Window goes up to about Halfway and goes up really SLOW!

Any Ideas..?!
