Are these worth it for £45 or is there a cheaper way? Thanks.

All red rear lights..
If you want them that isn't a bad price, I got mine for £20 but I had to wait ages. also if you are putting them on a 6n contrary to the auction the bulb holders will not fit. Also I believe there is some slight modification to fit to a 6n

Re: All red rear lights..
I paid £40 for mine a year ago.. Go 4 it
Re: All red rear lights..
Just about to buy them when they get bumped up £5.. Called the guy and gave me them at the discount price so not bad, should look nice when fitted.
Just need some nice alloys and should be set.. Does anyone know are the rear indicator bulbs orange or clear?

Clear, you will need 6n2 bulb holders and to mod the wiring in the back
Re: All red rear lights..
Is there a guide how to mod the wiring on here?
All red rear lights..
Yeah somewhere mate I not I can tell you I think pretty sure it's in the DIY section though
Re: All red rear lights..
Well for £50 you'd want the bulb holder included with it.. And as for the existing wiring you only have to cut and re-wire 2 wires I'll have a look at mine in a bit and re post up whats ones you need to swap
Re: All red rear lights..
You need to cut the black and green and black and red wires then swap them done! You might also need to cut away at some of the light to make it sit flush with your body..
Re: All red rear lights..
OK thanks for that, i asked the seller he said only the red cover part is off the newer polo so i assume it's already been trimmed and will fit exact as the standard, so i'll only need the orange bulbs..?
Saying that i'v seen 2 brake covers off a 2001 for 30 inc deliver.. Not sure whether i should cancel the orignals now save 20 quid but will be a hassle trimming, fittting them etc... What do you think?

No it will need trimming and your bulb holder WILL NOT fit. And you will still need to rewore it's just the light unit from the newer ones. Wiring and bulb holder was completely different there is no way you can fit the new to old without it. I don't understand what you mean by brake cover
Re: All red rear lights..
You know the brake red lens, that's the only part taken from a 6n2 the rest is off a 6n so i was told.
Re: All red rear lights..
Thats defo wrong cose the 6n bulb holder wont match the 6n2 lens, for example where the indicator bulb is on the 6n holder wont be in the right place for the lens? You know what i mean..? mate i say you hit a scrappy and pull them off or just buy complete rears with the harness everything its only 2wires to cut each light and a tiny bit of trimming... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Polo-6N2-m ... 1e673bbc7c you need the 6n2 holder n harness
Re: All red rear lights..
Yea i know what you mean about the bulb holders, the guy must of been talking cack.. grrr..
Will cancel them as just got these for £30 which includes bulbs/bulb holders and not cracked so i'll just have to fit them myself
LoL.
