the attention seeker gti makes an apearence

hi my names matthew ive been on here a while now and moosegirl keeps asking me to add pics of my gti so here it is at long last

ive had the car for about 3 years now and done quite alot to it in that time
engine mods
pipercross induction kit
powerflow cat back stainless exhaust
suspention:
eibach shocks and springs
wheels and tyres:
standard gti wheels refurbed
16 inch gti wheels from golf mk4 cabriolet yet to decide what to do with
and a set of g60s for winter
interior:
full black factory leather with heated front seats great in winter
black faux suede roof lining and trims led interior lights
golf mk4 leather gearknob and gaitor as sits lower
exterior:
aero wipers all round inc shortened one on rear
heko wind deflectors
led side lights and number plate lamps
black vinyl roof
few stickers on rear screen and side windows
colour coded splitter with cupra r one aswell
yellow tint film foglamps
smoked headlamps and indicators
black and red front badge and painted rear badge
colour coded shark fin aerial and deseamed below rear lamps
proberbly forgot something
when i got it looking a little tired

then the fun began
after its respray looking rather shiney

then just some random ones

so the time came for vw festival at harewood house and i managed to get it on clubpolos stand and thought id have a laugh and do this to the g60s

and this weekend decided to finally get round to doing the roof lining etc in black faux suede just a few pics i took while doing it

and how it looks at the moment

Wooooo eventually!

Liking the roof lining, and looks class after the re-spray.

Getting mine re-sprayed one the bad weather has been and gone

Haha took me ages to workout imageshack plus been busy doing the roof lining which I'm glad I did in fabric and not just paint it you staying black with the respray mine was dirt cheap and done over a weekend where I work at least now you know what I've done to it but I think I've missed loads off

Thanks for the comments didn't know what people would think to the g60s gets alot of attention and funny faces but that was why I did it

Yeah just gerting it solid black, theres stonechips on the bonnet and roof so should come out nice and fresh!

Think I'm going for flushed bumpers next but thinkin of adding us golf mk4 marker lights aswell just to make it different

Hi mate interestingly I know the previous owner of this car! His initials are SJG (hence the private plate that is still on the car), he had no end of trouble though with the gearbox! he had it reconditioned/replaced atleast 2 maybe 3 times, he then ran out of patience and money with the car and let it go to 'dubbers' for a stupidly low price. He owned it from about 2002/3 to whenever you bought it from dubbers. Despite his problems with it this was the car that really made me want a GTI, I then purchased one myself in 2008 and owned one for about two years, fortunatly though I never had a bad experience with mine and loved every minute of ownership.

haha such a small world wasnt expecting this i put a gearbox in from a scrapped one that i got checked out and a clutch when i bought it as it was crunching into gears and since then touch wood its been fine i bought it as it was the cheapest one arround and had full leather bloke at dubbers told me about the plate ive loved every minute of owning this one even if it is a money pit
