I am pretty sure that kit (7P6) needs the multifunction wheel to put it into pairing mode.
I already have one of these kits on order for mine so will try it before I put in the MFSW and let you know the outcome.

Yeah cheers mate, that would be great. Hope it works tho coz I bought one the other day
I havnt recived it yet like.

The 510 does not need the MFSW if its a 9w7, however a 9wZ neds a highline display.

Now how do you get the RCD 510 out? There is plastic trim around the RCD 510. How'd you get that off first?!
Re: Rcd-510 + 9w7 bluetooth module.
Using a trim removal tool unclip it from under the radio and work your way around to the top

Anyone successfully installed the 9W7 Bluetooth unit into their Polo?
Bought one of eBay to fit into my GTI when it gets delivered!

Stuart,
fitted the 9w7 to my 6R, very easy fit, just require some trim removal tools so you leave no marks.

Okay, I've read up on a couple of forums about it. Sounds straight forward.
What headunit do you have? and do you have a gti?
Cheers

Just an up-date bout my bluetooth kit....
I got it fitted yesterday and it works great
Everything works well even tho I dont have the multifunction steering wheel (MFSW). Ill have to give a shout out to the guys at AutoSounds for installing it.
