HELP ME WITH ENGINE TRANSPLANT QUICK QUESTION

Hi all newbie here lol ok so iv just bought a lovely little polo gti on a w reg it failed its mot on emmisions also the lad told me that it was down on compresson on cyl 4 also idles up and down and some times cut out but it wasnt blowing any smoke.. any way i was messing around today and i took the oil cap off while it was running and loads of blue smoke came out so i then pull the engine breather pipe of that goes to the air box also loadz of blue smoke so i imagine cyl 4 rings are foooked... any way iv been offerd a engine for it but its engine code AVY and mine is ARC what would i need also for the change over like ECU OR KEYS ect or can i just swap the engine please help im really stuck on what to do

Thats right. Swap over the ECU, immo. box & immo. ring. You might need to swap over the clocks as well
