Nah its cool mate I'll have a search later when I'm home :-)

Sprayed my indicators this mornin just to see what it's like...

I'm undecided at the min, but if it was to stay I'd definitely have to do something to the main lights

Not my cup of tea really mate, the headlight protectors cover the indicators too so I would have experimented with them first.

Is the tint spray easy to remove? If you do decide you don’t like it then just be careful when you remove the indicators as they are very easy to break.

Silver and black theme does work well on the GTI's but I think the headlights should be left alone, Genuine xenon headlights are awesome :)

If you're after a set buddy got some sitting at home doing nothing. Got them and just didn't really like the way they sat.

We're on the car for like 2 days.

Yeh the tint spray come off easy with the removal spray, just wipes off bud.
It was really just to give me a taste of what the black would look like on the fronts, so I'm now gonna look into the headlight protectors then spray them.
Can easily be removed then :-)

Yesterday I got my headlight protectors through the post thanks to Benmkiv :-)

Image

Today I got a few SMD error free LED bulbs and a can of tint spray ;-)

Image

First thing was to get tinting cos they could dry while I was changing bulbs over

Image

Here's 1 of the sidelight bulbs... Unbelievably bright!

So here's protectors tinted and fitted...

I think they look ok for the min, but at least now can take it off if I don't like it (or it's too dark)

I don't think you get any errors on gti since it isn't canbus interface but if you have trouble I can point you in the direction of some nice side lights LED ;)

That's weird I haven't put in LED indicators yet. You sure they're all working? Including the rears?
