headlights

Post by daydotz »

during my time in the bluemotion i had a massive issue with the headlights they were useless no mater how i adjusted the hight they could barely light up the road
my old clio projectors did a better job then the bluemotion i do recommend the xenons if thats normal for the polo :o

And probably blinds the crap out of oncoming traffic.

I ahve the HIDs in my Polo and after having a Mk4 golf with useless headlights no matter what globe went in, it was teh one option that was a must. From my experiance with makes and models from all over the world, nobody does stock non-HID headlights better than our local manufacturers in Holden and Ford. The roads we have over here and the 60kg+ inhabitants that patrol the roadside on country roads at night need a strong headlight with good beam spread and also good beam throw. No euro-based car have this in their reflector lamps but to be fair, the majority of their market share doesn't require it. Even the Japanese 4x4 companies have fallen by the wayside of late because they're no longer using off-the-shelf developed lights from Osram, Hello and Kyota.
