I can't find any for a Polo GTI on either of the sites, they all seem to be for a 1.4 or 1.8?

Am I just being daft or are there actually none on there? :?

I tried to find some a while back, you won't find any because our cars are not mainstream enough. So know1 will do a kit if you get me, unless you get custom made but that is money unfortunatly...

You could always wrap them I suppose with silicone repair tape? That's what I'm doing in the summer.

ah sorry, i hadn't actually checked that on SFS.

best thing to do will be to call them tomorrow and ask what they can do. dependent on which pipes you need they may be able to make up a kit and if not you can send them a picture of the bay with the relevant pipes circled and they can then work out a rough pricing for you.

who knows, you may be lucky in that they are currently looking to develop a kit for the Polo GTI and need to use your car for the samples :)

free stuff FTW :D

Custom would probably be expensive but if you had a spare set of OEM hoses (doubt anybody has) you could send them to Samco or SFS and ask for a quote. They probably already produce hoses that would be suitable which are used on other cars but trying to source them would be a right headache, they literally produce thousands of different types so the chances are they exist but won’t ever be listed for the GTI.

That's the problem with having a super rare car :(

Tadaaaaa!

http://www.sfsperformance.co.uk/colours.asp

I had purple hoses for my previous GTI 1.8T (golf) and found that samco were a bit.... meh, and it takes them something like 4 weeks minimum to make the non-standard coloured hoses. SFS are really nice, they will help you out with any queries and work to get the hoses to you ASAP. (obviously this is just my experience and i mean nothing bad against Samco)

Car looks awesome by the way. interested in what will be coming out of this recent work.

it's threads like this that make it really difficult to stick to my promise to myself that i wont spend any money modding this polo after the amount i spent on the golf :(

James
Aaaaah, that actually was the other name I was trying to remember but couldn't get Samco out of my mind haha. Thanks for reminding me of them though, might check them out myself later on down the line.

Cheers
