Afternoon all
I have a 9N GT I had both rear callipers replaced due to l/h one seized. Now I keep getting an intermittent HARD pedal. This is is rather frightening to say the least . My question is how common are the tandem pumps or the brake servo itself. Thank you in advance. Rob

Re: brake problems
is it like the servo is`nt working properly ?..if so,check the black plastic servo to vac pump pipe...i saw this problem very recently on a skoda fabia tdi (basically the same car/same pipe)..turned out to have multiple cracks on the pipe which was causing exactly what you describe...and the dealers said it`s quite common apparently. think it was around £25.
Re: brake problems

Re: brake problems
I take it the system's been bled properly (albeit if it hadn't, you'd get a spongy pedal). I'd try draining the system and filling it with fresh fluid. It's pretty cheap to do and might fix it.

Re: brake problems
Yer it has a full brake fluid change recently done at work by the power bleed system. I checked for air in system 2 times since callipers fitted. All these problems seem to have arisen since callipers fitted I just cant see what's going on. Rob
