Yeah boy, saved about 100quid from what I paid, kit is suppurb mate and is deffinatly he best choice for performance and looks. Bmc cda are a hype on here i feel. But more ppl are going with the proper choice, the k&n has alot more intake surface and sucks in cold air. Fit everything loose first and tighten up when you know it's all ok. The horn bracket is a pig but it might be me lol! Good choice...! If you need any info or pics on fitting just ask but it's pretty strait forward.

I already had a BMC CDA on the car and bought an EP3 Type R soon after so sold the GTI (to Moosegirl)

Amazing piece of kit and far better quality than the BMC but there was no point fitting it to the car because I knew the GTI was going up for sale.
I did trial fit running the small ram feed but took it off straight away and its remained boxed up since

Its the best performance induction kit for the GTI but the BMC CDA probably sounds better

I'm not really goin for sound, I'd rather performance than sound.

Yeah Typhoon will be good for you then mate, just make sure you run it on the long feed like Craig (TrottaGTI)
The small feed will just create heat soak and drain power
