Aren't those UK spec lights? Fog's on the right hand side whereas it's on the left on the continent...Boyracer_2011 wrote: Found another pic, id luv to get some. Think it would look sweet on a white car

Now that looks lush mate, do you know if they would fit on the UK spec model and able to change the rear fog light over?

Re: Rear tinted lights.
However, you can ask if the lights are available for the UK market. These are the lights:

I'm almost 100% that they are suitable for yours.

Re: Rear tinted lights.
You'd need to do a bit of wiring work as if you fitted European rear lights then the 'reverse' light would come on instead of the fog and vice versa. Alternatively, there's probably just a red filter inside the lens, so if you're feeling brave you could just break it off so you could use the 'fog light' as your reverse light as it wouldn't be red.Boyracer_2011 wrote:Yeah will do mate.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that it was compulsory for RHD cars to show a reverse light on the left and a fog light on the right. Don't quote me on that but could be a problem come MOT time if it's correct...
Re: Rear tinted lights.
Reverse lights aren't needed for an Mot however a rear foglight on the offside is a must, will fail without one.
Re: Rear tinted lights.
Swapping the fog and reverse sections should be doable. I did it with the MKV Golf LED rears. The only issue would be if the red and clear filters are moulded into the surrounds.
look good on a black car and I've been considering taking the plunge on these for a while.
Worst case scenario is that the filters aren't interchangeable and I have to cut them out to swap them over and plastic weld them back in. Done it before and it works fine. Just don't try superglue as it fogs the plastic.
