What Oil? 2003 9n 1.2 6V

Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on this?

My car is a - 52/2003 Polo 9n 1.2 6V - 40kW - 3 Cylinder - AWY Code. (Sh!t engine, I know.)

Now I went on the Castrol website to see what engine oil they would recommend.
According to the site I’ve got 2 options.

Castrol Edge 5W-30
Or
Castrol Magnatec 10W-40

What would be the better choice and for what reason (if any)?

Castrol GTX for petrol engines will be spot on mate. Magnatec is for engines with a lot of mileage and not sure what castrol edge is but GTX will be fine.

Cheers mate, Edge is quite expensive @ £17/l.

What viscosity's does GTX come in?
