I bought the car with 69000 miles on it and immediately changed the cambelt and water pump,
spark plugs, oil and filters. Also had a new fuel pump fitted too.
Good points
Car is very cheap to tax, and cheap on insurance too, very nippy around town and very enjoyable to drive, the car turns so many heads, and gets compliments literally daily
Fresh MOT end of October and taxed til end of January
Replaced front sub frame and wishbones end of October, so it has not had stress on the bushes/arb etc of running low.
The car is cleaned with quality products regularly which really bring out the pearl effect in the paint, gleams very nicely in the sun.
Badpoints.
It is a 11 year old car, so there are a couple minor dings and scratches
The rear nearside arch has a couple creases in it from pot holes, but never really bothered me too much
The owner before me of the interior tried to dye the driver seat purple, but it has been cleaned up as much as possible, it is still green, but slightly faded and a bit patchy (no purple to be seen). However no tears or rips, and bolsters still intact. Passenger and rear seats are mint, would re-dye green or full black, but I just don’t have the time
This is a hell of a lot of car for the money I’m asking for. The reason I’m selling is because i want a new car and have my eye on one and really want the polo to go to a new home asap so i can fund the new project, if not i will part ex for
E36 BMW 323i coupe , or 318is, or a late spec mk2 gti
I'm after £2600ono for the po-low, grab a real bargain!
