Post by jackwh999 »

hey guys and galls, in the next week or so i will be dropping my gti 50mm and just wondering bout much i can get away with on bumpping the wheels out (spacers) but so they are not just about hanging on the axle. pics or comments would be pretty sweet. thanks jiggs.

With a 50mm drop you could space them out quite alot.Im down around 50mm and have 15mm spacers on the rear, that gives a nice OE kind of look.If you want them to intentionally look spaced id go for 20-25mm.Much wider and id imagine you'll be putting alot of load on the rear.

i dont want them to look over the top so i may give 15mm a bash and see how she turns out. just so i dont buy any that are too wide or dont fit really. without going on is there any brand you recommend or site? ( supose they all do the same job) thanks again, jiggs

15mm will sit pretty nice, iv got 20mm up front and 25mm out back and it sits all hellaflush once wound down. But clearly you need stretch tyres, whatever spacers you get I would highly recommend gett hubcentric ones as all the other ones will give you problems... If fitted wrong.

Venom Motorsport do very good deals...
