Hello all.

Post by keeperjim »

Hello all,
just bought my first Polo GTI, it's a 6n2, 2000 on an X plate. Full VAG history, 2 owners from new. Really chuffed with it, been after one for about a year now, great fun to drive, loving it so far. There are a couple of small jobs needing done, drivers side window regulator, and the n/s cv boot is needing replaced but apart from that it's in good nick.

Hi, thanks, yeah got a few but not exactly sure how to go about posting them? I'm loving it, more used to a Discovery 2 so it's been quite a change!

Sign up to photobucket matey and then once your photos are loaded up click on them and get the img code, copy and paste that onto the thread and pics are then loaded. Job done!

Welcome mate look forward to Seeing the updates :-)

Your link worked dude but you give us a link to your whole photobucket album... We wanna see the gti not the tractor ;-)

When your in your photobucket album hover the mouse over the picture and it should come up with a list of different links/IMG codes, you want to move your mouse to the bottom of the list which should be image code then click on it and it will automatically copy it then come and past it in your thread and it'll show the picture instead of give us a link to another web page.

Hope this helps buddy :-D

Ha yeah the trucks were fun, took a bit of getting used too, 18spd gearbox, plus they drive on the wrong side of the road! I'm going to keep her standard I think, just get her back up to scratch, alloys need refurbished, some small tatty bits on them, cv boot needs doing, calipers need painting, drivers window regulator needs replacing, but apart from that she's in pretty good nick, for the age and miles. Got her pretty cheap too, which is always nice!

What sorta mileage is on the beast?
If you picked it up cheap I wouldn't tell many ppl on here as a few have spent a fair bit on theirs lol I got mine for £2850 with 80,000 on it but well over £3000 after I travelled to Scotland for it lol
