the lights in the rear are basically done the same way, use a screw driver to lever the thing out... the bulbs are C5W 38mm... need two in the rear

What are C5W Bulbs 38mm are they Festoon bulbs??

Has anyone thought about changing their ariel to something similar to the one of the Polo R-line? My ariel was stolen ages ago and I havent replaced it since it would probably be stolen again :( So this could be a solution :P

That was one of the first things I thought about doing to mine funnily enough, would it not be really difficult though, cos I suspect you'd have to get all the roof lining out and stuff, and I was worried incase I couldn't get it all back together properly lol
It would look majorly cool though, rather than the silly ariel and the sticker/protector thing on the spoiler lol

There's a thread on some forums on how to replace it with an OEM VW fish tail. It's a proper ball ache apparantly, you have to take the roof lining out and have to be a dab hand with electronics, as there'd be a new electronic module to install. It was something I was intent on doing as soon as I got my Polo in April, but as it's so difficult to do, I've decided not to bother. I dare say, your local dealer would fit one and wire one up for you if you enquired, the part would come direct from a Passat CC or a Scirocco. I'll try dig the thread out.

Onto a different note, what do you guys think to the below. I'm waiting on a set of these alloys and i've booked my car in at Awesome GTI for a set of lowering springs fitted on the 25th of Feb.

The motorsport VW wheels aren't my favourite looking wheel, but they are lightweight and effective with white which is all good with me. 8)

Yeah i agree with Hurdy, they do look really good with white :) Id say that polo is lowered on 35/50 H&R's or coilovers though cause its sitting lower than my H&R's but your car is gonna look sweet :) The black mirrors go well with the wheels too
