Intercooler with cup bumpers

Post by Marc9n3 »

Basically as the title says, will a forge intercooler fit behind a cup edition bumper, I can't see why it wouldn't but just want to make sure, so has anybody does it before?

Cheers Marc

Mine didn't. I saw some guy in Europe cut his bumper I wasn't up for that. Then notice some guys removed the aircon rad and it fits. There must be a way of doing this with all bits there but I gave up and sold it.

Hope that helps

My car came with the cup bumpers and I love the look of them over the standard ones, so either no FMIC or i attempt to cut it

Intercooler with cup bumpers

Can be done by moving everything back further into the engine bay but I couldn't be bothered. Agree the front cup bumper looks great

in order to put the FMIC you need to cut just a very small part of the bumper (2-3 mms), and a small part of the grille as well. 2-3 mms. at first i didn't want this, but after a while i started loving the way it looks... i'm gonna post some pictures after i get back home...
