NOT a happy bunny 2day!
Washed the car and wheels 2day and this happened....

Perfectly understandable if I was close to the wheel with pressure washer but I was afraid it could happen do I stood miles away and quickly blasted around it and watched the paint flake off!!

Take them back to whoever did them then bud it's a shame but shouldn't happen.
Re: Ashcroft's 6N2 GTI: Borbets now fitted :-D
I've sent him this picture and asked if he can sort it.
Had no reply yet, but I know he's working on his car 2day so I'll probably get a reply later.
And no it shouldn't happen!

That's what iv got mate, there so hard to stretch on though... You need a shop with a co2 tank bead blaster... And even then mine went down lol! But a good tyre non the less, that chip on your wheel looks like an inflation nozzle chip..?????
Re: Ashcroft's 6N2 GTI: Borbets need to go back for re-paint
Thanks Craig I'll look into other tyres or see if my local garage can do the bridgestones as there pretty good anyway.
The paint has flaked off as I washed it mate, i seen it happen
it's not from when I got the tyres on and blown up as I was hovering over their shoulder when they done it lol
Well gutted tho
looks like its a really thin coat of paint!!

Re: Ashcroft's 6N2 GTI: Borbets need to go back for re-paint
If your going down the stretch route i'd pick 165/50 bridgestone potenza's.
Re: Ashcroft's 6N2 GTI: Borbets need to go back for re-paint
Hats what I'm looking at bud but 165/55s instead of 50s to keep the speedo correct (well near enough)
