OK, is this why sometimes when you do a "spirited" start from the lights, it will sometimes bog down a bit when the wheels start to spin?

Sounds more like traction control that - EDL should never 'bog it down' as it should never do anything other than brake one of the front wheels. Traction control on the other hand cuts the power to the engine.

I've never noticed mine 'bog down'. You shouldn't even trigger EDL in a straight line, because both of the wheels will spin.

Well as far as i know the ECU cuts of the engine also along with the ABS thingy.That could be what you are experiencing...

By the way....does anyone know the standard fuel pressure value for the Gti??? :roll:
