Yeah i think it would look pretty cool too. Best get saving! Haha :D

It would be the very last thing i do to the car once everything else is sorted though, the leather in it now is in very good condition anyway.

Re: My GTI..... Parcel Shelf Embroidery Ideas Needed ASAP

Post by Moosegirl »

People.... I need ideas asap before he starts the work on the parcel shelf for the custom stitching in the bottom left. I have two ideas so far:

Maybe this little fella peeking up at people as they look into the car, and he is green which matches the colour theme... But is it a bit childish???? Lol

I don't think they will suit your car IMO, never made a Wolfsburg polo so no point having that. It's a hard thing to choose.....

I still vote moose horns ha!

Yeah the Wolfsburg was the trimmers suggestion tbh, I would never have even thought to get that.... I love little froggy but as said, it will be an expensive mistake when I get bored of him lol.

I am completely stuck on what to get, and just done want boringness....

You reckon just leave it plain then? Least I can always get something added to it but having something undone is far more complicated haha..... Less is more as the saying goes?????

I'd avoid having s**t stitched in.

Just because you can it doesn't mean you should.

Yeah i'm thinking keep it simple..... The bloke at Kish was basically pushing me to get something embroidered or 'he isn't doing the job'...... I'll just ring him and tell him, if he doesn't want to do it then fair enough....

He's only sayin that cos it'll cost more money= more profit for him!
Any business is good business so he'll still do it unless he's extremely busy, but tell him your on here and there's other ppl interested in going to him so if he don't do it he doesn't only lose 1 customer he loses loads!

Nah, he quoted me the same amount on the phone as what he did when i went in with it... Embroidery or not, he was basically saying plain with stitching was too easy to do.

He is one of the best know trimmers in the country so he basically doesn't want his work to look crap so its definately nothing to do with the money.

I really want HIM to do it though lol :D

He did an awesome job on a bloke called MItch's Lupo..... Google search 'MItch/Mitchell Lupo' and you will see the awesomeness 8)

My GTI

Post by red6n2 »

That lupo is epic... I'd love a lupo GTI, hopefully my next car is one of them or a mkIV r32 depend on future money.

How the hell does he clean his bonnet ?!.

He uses Mothers and microfibres. Personally I prefer the winter bonnet.

Mandy, you should just call it a day on the Polo front and buy Mitch's Lupo.

It stupidly cheap at the minute for what it is, plus you get both bonnets.

You want a retrim and a respray etc . . . . Probably easier to just have a pimp Lupo.

Also, Lupo's are cool.

It is a perfect Lupo but I don't just want to buy someone elses project. It would be constantly referred to as 'Mitches old Lupo'. Plus there is nothing you could do to make it better or put your own stamp on it.

I think Polos are well cooler than Lupos
