anyone know why there is a difference in available drops on eibach springs between diesel polos and petrol versions

i priced some today and was asked if it is a petrol or diesel as one has -30mm drop and the other is a -50mm

Has to do with the weight difference I think. A diesel-engine is much heavier than a petrol-one.

ye maybe that, although u can get 30mm or 50mm on petrol versions

but dont the OE sports suspension the same with a 1.9tdi sport and a 1.4 16v (100) ? (and FSi sports etc..)
