1990 polo 1 litre problems

Hey

just joined this site as my girl friend has just gotten a 1990 polo. But has a few little problems.

Im a Honda guy myself so polo's are abit new to me.

The first problem i have that the car was running very rich, think ive narrowed that down to the rubber gasket the carb sits on as its cracked. Is that a Vw dealer only part or can it be bought from a local motorfactors ? Also does anyone have a part number for it ?

Also the drivers side seat wont slide forward its stuck right back ? also wont tilt forward

Also just remembered the right hand side rear bulb holder is rusted and not working, rang Vw to get a quote for this and it was £21 but would take 2 weeks to arrive dont suppose anyone has one for sale ?

If you give a company like TPS a call and give them your reg and the part you are after they can send you over an exploded diagram of the item and you can identify the part you need. Send it back over and they can give you a price and availability!
