Hi mate,

All four door cards, handbrake & gear stick gaiter & front/rear seats. Nappa leather £1500

Personally I don't think its a bad price. Great work form MJ too.

As a comparison I called VW for a cost on the leather door cards and it was somewhere around £300 per card

[quote="9N3 Turbo"]Ok small update.

Finally got the diff fitted to the gearbox so swapped the gearbox over and fitted the new flywheel and clutch.

Also changed the rear spring rubbers to lower the rear another 10mm. Thanks to Shabar on here for pointing this out to me

VW polo rear spring rubber on the right and Seat version on the left.

Can I just ask, do these lower the standard suspension by 10mm as well and is it a simple swap?

Cheers?

@ lee gti 88

Yes they would.

On std springs you may need spring clamps to get them out but yes very simple swap. :D

Thanks for the reply 9N3 Turbo.

So the springs are simply removed by compressing the spring wity clamps, swap over the rubbers and re fit?

Cheers Drennan.

If the weather is good enough ie not snowed in then Sunday I will fit the 256mm rears.

Next up is forged block which I collect Satuday then fit that along with my hybrid turbo and phelonic gasket.

Then once I sell my 550cc injectors I no longer need I will use that money to refurb my Porsche twists. Then that's it. Time to concentrate on my 4x4 mk1 i am building and carry on saving the deposit for my house.

What you got planed next?

Ahh no need for the injectors and a bigger fuel pump when u run a hybrid? Im in 2 minds wither to keep it and attempt a ko4 stage 3 or sell up ive had my eye on an S3. :) Before i sell tho I'll see it thru the winter get the wheels dickied up and bak on, i want a clutch and i wanna get the paintwork up to scratch again. No pun intended :) mk1 4x4? Done much to it yet? Pics paleezee. I saw a mk2 that was raised like a mini monster truck dunno it it was a 4x4 tho at edition38 past 2 years. Id love a mk1 but just not reliable enough for me. Maybe a project when im a bit older.

Yeah i do need bigger injector but the ones from the BAM engine will be sufficient. The 550's were for the hybrid+ but i didn't go for that one in the end. And yes you do need the 4bar fuel pump from the seat leon too which i have in the garage. Maybe i should have said AWD instead of 4x4. I will sort some pic over the weekend and post them up.

The Mk1 will never be an everyday car just a toy :-)

Which S3? i really want the 8p. Thinking of selling the Polo next year to get one.

I hope it's fast lol. I have had the engine built for over 3years and has been built to run between 450-500 horses so all being well a very fun toy :-)

I feel the same but want to run stage 2 around the 365 mark.

I want the face lift newer 8P so like yourself will see how the funds are. Hoping with what has been done to the polo i can get a good price for it hen i put it up for sale.
