Yeh mate but only smoothing front this month and going to search for a donor boot and rear bumper to be smoothed next month saw you bargain on ebay as well with your boot.

Also got a hold of a couple of little sneaky oem mods but they will be revealed in due course lol

You can get the jap bumper from vw mate, no import to pay then....

I like the gloss splitter, jap front bumper for me though, not a fan off the smooth bumpers.... Good effort though.

Unlucky! We've had none down this way yet but I'll be keeping all my old bumpers to keep on over winter and just keep the smoothed for summer time ;-)

Update: took apart the car last night so they couldnt start my car and the little fuckers STILL tried rolling it found it gone this morning and drove down road to were they have dumped it. To top it off they have locked it and f****d off with the keys (or dumped em)

Spoke to vw
1. £115 for a key just to get into it
2. £75 to program it in to start it
3. If they still have the key they can just jump in whenever they want cause the key vw will give me is the same!!!!!!!!

What options do i have???? Anyone??

1. Get keys made from vw the pay even to have the locks and ignition barrel changed

2. Get vw keys then fork out for another alarm

3. (if this is an option) buy a ignition barrel, keys, ecu etc from a scrapper and install

Post by Trottagti »

I would swap the door locks over from a scrapper and perhaps get a new key for your ignition and use 2 keys. One for the doors and one for the ignition. That way no ecu business... If your tight on funds it may work out. Tbh I would ring your insurance and see what they say as they will replace barrels and that for sure.... My mate got onto his insurance, surly house insurance should cover some part of it aswell???
