Re: My GTI - Custom Exhaust
Yeah performance cars are expected to get some abuse from time to time, I must admit I never drove the Polo hard simply because I was afraid something would go wrong that I couldn’t afford to fix. My Type R is a different animal all together and that actually likes to be abused so it would be rude not to oblige

Re: My GTI - Custom Exhaust
They don't need to be driven hard most of the time. Although I did most of the way back from Wales just because I was excited
.... then got tired about 4 hours into the journey so slowed down lol
Now, i'd rather cruise at a normal speed so people can appreciate the car
Ben, the Civic is lovely! I've never been in one though

Re: My GTI - Custom Exhaust
Yeah I totally agree Mandy
The Polo gets so many looks when your in 30 zones it makes you want to slow down just for them to admire it lol
That's probably what I loved most about the GTI, they get looks everywhere they go with most people mistaking them for a Golf
If we ever manage to arrange a proper UK Polo's meet i'll have to take you out for a spin in the Civic Mandy.
Its pretty tacky inside compared to the GTI and looks strange with the gearstick on the dashboard but its a great car to drive and sound lovely

Yeah, I think any 6n2 looks nice even just with coilovers and wheels done. It's the shape of them that I love.
And I definately want a go in your car! We will have to sort a ukpolo meet somewhere for the summer. I don't mind travelling, wherever it is i'll just make a weekend of it

Yeah we need to sort something out, location is going to be important too though because we are all scattered across the UK.
Be good making a day and night of it though, maybe stop at a hotel and we could all go out for a meal or something?
I'm open to suggestions lol. Probably be a waste just to meet up in a car park for an hour or two then go, especially if people are travelling far.

I pressume thats where you live?NotRich wrote:How about Billing in Northampton ?
Ideally it would have to be somewhere a little more central
Best discussing this on the Meets & Events Section though, dont want to clutter up Mandy's build thread

Northampton in next to daventry and daventry is the most central and most inland place in the whole country !.
