I'm also after some new tyres for my 16'' bbs, The last tyres I bought were Maxxis, not that great.

I'm liking Trotta's suggestion of Toyo Proxes TR1, £67 per tyre at Camskill which is good, never had toyo's, but I trust your review :D

Was put a good word in for Continental Sport Contact 2's too, both myself and Alex Perkins (Now Greg's car) have used them and been imprressed.Ive always found Toyo Prox's to wear pretty fast due to the soft compound.

Toyo T1R's are very good and I used them on my GTI but they dont tend to last very long unfortunately

Good budget performance Tyre but in terms of value for money it would be better spending an extra £7-8 each and getting Yokohoma S Drives, they perform better in the wet too :)

Not knocking Toyo's but there are better tyres out there for the same money, even Falkens are very good for the price.
