I think once you align up the exhaust with the cut out you will be ok, looks to much to the left from the pics. Nothing a hammer won't sort on the mount lol...!

Cheers guys!! Really appreciate the comments :D had a quick look and isnt much chance of hammering it without damaging it lol think I will just sort the cut-out out as its not thar far off, looks it in the pictures but in real life its not that bad lol INCREDIBLY loud tho! lol most definatly going to get pulled if im not careful lol

You'll be ok just be wary ;-)
Loudest thing I ever drive was my 2.0 corsa redtop, just slighty on the pedal it's drive nice n sensible as if it was standard then put your foot down it would roar insanely!

I can't wait to get my exhaust sorted out in the summer :-p

POD - The Lovable GTi - Exhaust video and pics!

Post by nigelelliott394 »

Looks good now you have it lowered :) it's surprising how much better the RXII's look when you reduce the arch gap. They don't look so lost and small anymore.

Does your exhaust have a silencer? If it does I can’t see it being too loud mate, my GTI with a silencer was pretty quiet to be honest.
My Type R is monster loud but it still passed the MOT fine, its 110+ decibels but I didn’t get any advisory’s :)
