Buying a 9N~How easy to fit central locking & e/windows??

Post by craggles »

How do everyone,,im currently buying a 02 polo 3 cylinder one with round lights.

The car is so standard, its untrue,,its a 5 door E,,the only electrics are the mirrors

How easy is it to fit central locking,,and best way,,original polo bits or an ebay kit,,i would also like some sort of thob to control it.

And the big one electric windows,,would i need new door cards for the controls? and what bits to get,,would the wireing already be there??

thanks for your help on this :D :D

Haven’t done it myself mate. Could guarantee someone on here has but Rclick must supply instructions and wiring diagrams.
My 9n come with central locking but not remote. Was tempted to go down the OEM route but haven't got round to it.

Let us know how you get on.

cheers ill hope someone comes along,,its mainly a bit of help with the removal of the door cards.

Trust me i wouldbe getting one with the estras, just this one has come up with 47k for 1k with 12 months mot/6month tax,so cant really refuse it,,im going to sell it on in a couple of months hopefully make a little profit,,i think it will be more sellable with at least c/locking on it.
