How hard it is-what parts I will need - and if it's been done?
I'm thinking on sticking a vr6 in the gti
I'm thinking of buying a damaged car so I've got everything there like wiring etc, just want to know if it's possible tho??

Just Wondering??
I've never seen a vr6 put in a gti.
The better option in my opinion would be a 1.8t from a mk4. A guy on here did it recently. Plus much easier to tune.

the vr6 lump is HUGE in comparison to the 1.8t. I would assume you would have to start cutting chassis legs etc in order to get it all in.

Seen 6n's with them in, so should be do-able.
Club Polo should have something if you can live all the 'down with rat/scene' and opinionated posts.
