Just done my coilovers on me mates driveway and had ago at doing my front arb bushes to find there the wrong size so more to order up, anyways here's the pics.

Will be sorting out the ride height once it's settled in but being able to turn it to soft is well AMAZING!
So much more comfort and the ride is pucka.

Yeah should be epic once I have my new wheels on that iv painted up and my stance is sorted ready for ud2012, looking into a rear arb ATM. Gona go for the fabia mk1 whiteline one and my own drop links, probably rosejoint it in or weld in a new drip link carrier....
Paid £670 in the end.... I think!

Pretty sure the Fabia ones wont fit easily.
You want Golf mk II or the Ibiza that ran with the Polo (mk III?). Badger5 sells brackets to allow them to fit. (Y) That's what I found when I was looking, just never got round to ordering it - now it's on the road again I shall have to!

Concenus is 28mm only with bigger FARB, otherwise 25mm.

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!COILOVERS DONE!.*
Yeah I thought about the nuespeed but it seems abit overkill being 28mm, all the other links are for both front and rear, front is being updated but not ott size. Do I just email that badger5 guy about the brackets? Or can I buy them off a site?
Can't find any other Ibiza mk3 or 6k model of Ibiza rear arb...
No any? I can make any bracket. Was going to weld a plate on the beam if nothing else works and accomidate a bar.

They were all I could find quickly - pretty sure you'll be able to find just the rears somewhere - Balance motorsport maybe?
Think you can just email him. Pretty sure someone has put all the sizes/dimensions up on SCN so you could just copy those if you make your own up (which is what I'll do).
I think it's cos the Ibiza/Polo are roughly the same size as the Golf II, people list stuff for that mainly as it's a more common car - easy enough to make it fit though if all that's needed is a bracket.
Shame all the group buys keep failing for them really.
Tada - cheap too! Might have to place an order!

Well iv been busy doing bits and bobs on the car, more final detail than anything really.
Iv made my own rear window blank as well i just can and I loge using the laives at work hehe.

And these dials I ordered in and there at the engravers write now having something special done, there for my adjustable dampers so I don't have to use an Alan key.

And the smooth polished boot all done ready for fitting..!

Going to paint my blank gloss black aswell...

Hopefully be fitting the wheels tomorrow if I get the tyres on and pumped up all balanced.
And I might even flat n polish my front lip as I want to fit that badly now, also painted my rear number plate silver for shows so I'm all fresh now..... Fingers crossed it all goes well!

Re: TROTTA'S progress thread *.!COILOVERS DONE!.*
Well the weekend has been very kind to me weather wise and I caked on with my bumper strip and wheels and the ride height. Arb is hitting and the driveshaft is bloody close but IT LOOKS COOL!

Bad times, snow = more to bloody paint!

That's were I run me plate aswell now, looks mean at the front now.... Still got to settle down abit aswell.
How do ppl cure the arb hitting?
