Iv just put the Red trim on bottom grill, looks great not sure you can see it as much on the pic

where did you get the red trim from mate ? it looks sweet. subtle change that makes the car look a lot better ! and i prefer it to the chrome strip on the sel !

Always drive with mine on. Police never pulled me for it. Been pulled for my HID headlights but not the fogs. A wouldn't worry about police like. All they would say was turn them off

I havent been pulled about my HID kit but i'd say its only a matter of time yet :L Tbh im not fussed on having the fogs on so i'll just leave it

Aye no point in buying fogs if ya not gana use them. Coz led fogs are useless in fog tbh. Well mine are

Its just red tape I bought from halfrauds, but only had it on afew weeks then when I washed the car it just came off. Iv just bought the Sel grill from ebay, my plan is to mask the grill and paint the silver trim red.. So it should last longer and not wash off lol. It does make the car look better like, im suprised the GTI didnt already come with the red bottom grill.

Ok so I bought the Sel grill and my plan was to paint the silver trim.... Heres what iv done so far.


I masked the black plastic off ready to paint... Had a cheeky drink


I then started to spray the trim red, I had to do 2 or 3 coats tho


the finished result... What does everyone think?? Not a bad job if I say so myself lol

Well the red spary on the Sel grill is slightly different to the red on the Gti grill but its not that much really... A blind man on a galloping horse wouldnt beable to notice the difference lol.
Il prob fit it next week now, coz iv been really busy plus its my birthday weekend
