Interesting topic, I've tried to read most of it. The average 'Tex visitor is just a little different from the average US Consumer.
The 'Tex visitor probably likes to know how much that new GSD-3 tyre weighs...
The average consumer is interested in driving a natural-resource eating American made SUV, doing 60 on cruise, scared to take a corner.
But I'm exaggerating obviously.
In short, there's no large market for the Polo. I'm actually surprised the Golf sells there. A niche market, sure. But is that enough?
