It's really not though, it'd sell for less than a grand if the front wasn't smashed in.

I'd give you £400 quid for it. That's it.

I will however offer to sell you a nice tasty drivers side wing for the amazing amount of £30.

He's right due to that Love or Hate paint scheme (mainly hate) its drastically dropped the value and appeal of the car

It’s worth £1000 in parts but as a whole car you would be lucky to get £600 for it, sad to say but you’re better off breaking it

I wouldn't offer anywhere near £400,

Looks badly fire damaged (couldn't help it) :-)

you say it's a easy fix but how do you suppose anyone can match that paint to flow with the rest of the car And look like it did originally ?

The whole car would need a resprayed as the 'flames' even touch the rear quarters,

Break it in bits and sell it the sales will be slower but you will get double what you would for the car as it stands

How much did that paint job cost out of curiosity ?.

I think we're going to battle on, it's worth another go at listing on eBay. Fee's are reasonable and we're in no particular rush.

it finished on 1673 views, and over 10 watchers.

Worst case is, I'll hide it away and fix over time. Paint job Isn't too much of a problem, the same guy who did it for us can match it all back up.

For the gent who asked, the paint job cost around £400. We are fortunate enough to know someone very well who does a lot of the crazy paint job show cars. For this type of work he would charge someone around the £1k mark if not more!

We left it with him for over a week, he really went to town on it. The detail is incredible, I'm not sure you can see from the photos but the "smoke" from the flames is actually amazing.

But when you have something like this, a stone chip or a scratch can be devastating. It really is not worth the hassle, I have a focus st 2.5 in Electric Orange and scratches, chips etc are a pain to colour match and sort out. From this Polo and my ST, between us we will never get an odd coloured car, ever again.

Silver and maybe white, plain colours nothing special. Maintenance and repair is a doddle from my experience and not forgetting a lot easier when it comes to selling!
