I tried to modify the clips of the new one but wasn't happy with how it went.Possibly the same way you did it if i remember correctly, araldited the new face to the old badge backing.Looks great and could never tell so im happy with it.

That's exactly what I did :) It's such a nice upgrade. I'm kinda jealous of how mint your GTI is... I have too many bodywork issues :(

Yeh they do look quite alot nice especially front and rear. Thanks bud,it's quite a nice example really (without trying to come across as having a big head lol) i haven't seen that many kept in good nick which is a shame.Apart from this site of course, people also tend to over modify them in my opinion.

Well things have been alittle quiet with my car, looking foward to giving it a major clean up when the weather picks up and will take it for a little photo shoot.Which brings me to my very minor update haha.

Ive been installing some Access control in a dealership thats having a refit recently and manged to blag myself two Polo plates for the new cars for sale.I know a couple of people may already have some but i thought they would be perfect to velco on for photoshoots and shows.

Nice plates! I'd love to get a set and park up on a VW forecourt somewhere and slap the plates on and watch from a distance and see if people give it a nosey :D

A bit off topic here... I had a wee look through your thread there. You have a Toureg mini torch. This is something I've been thinking of getting for a while as my cigarette lighter was stolen  Does it fit in the bit in the dash ok? I thought I read somewhere (years ago) that it wouldn't fit properly and the flap wouldn't close down. :?

Haha thats cool dude, yeh i have you're right you cannot have it in the dash with the flap closed it dosen't quite fit.Mine lives in the AUX 12V in the boot.Would be ok if you had the flap open but it does look scruffy ay.
