Split rims

Post by sandshoes09 »

Hi folks,

Im just about to embark on my alloy wheel refurb, been a long time coming considering ive owned my GTi for nearly 3 years now!

The thing is, i just cant decide whether to stay standard as it rolled off the production line or go for black or gun metal grey with silver rims. My GTi is black and i think with black alloys will too much black but the gun metal looks pretty cool like they have on the audi's.

Any other ideas would be appreciated!

Find yourself a set of the 16" RX2's, they make the car look perfect :)

Personally I think it's best to go with different shades of silver/grey as this seems to suit them best
Im not sure why but in my eyes different colours just don't suit the RXIIs.

:D 16" RXII's FTW!

They used to be snapped up instantly a few years back but they are a lot harder to sell now unfortunately

Asking for £500 mate and that includes 4 Toyo Proxes T1R tyres, 3 are virtually new and the other is literally brand new covering a total of 0 miles

Here are a few pics of them on the car, I dont have any pics of them off the car at the moment but I can get you some this weekend if your interested?
These are a bargain I paid over £500 for them with no tyres and each tyre on these bad boy retail at over £70 195/40/16's
