I agree. Smoothed to remove handle then drop placement down to compensate= win!
I'm very much confused dude lol??? Does placement mean the handle?

Yes that's what I meant, apologies for the terrible English!!!!

I meant that IMO, the best look for the rear tailgate is when the handle is deleted, and the VW badge is lowered so it's central on the tailgate. Can only be done with a fully smooth boot too.

I hate the look off smooth bumpers and getting it correct on silver is hard to do and I just think what iv done is better with the smooth front rub strip looks oem smooth.!

I think a smooth rear bumper looks better than a smooth front bumper.
The rub strips look a bit dated IMO and the smooth look is slightly more modern and fresh

It also makes polishing & waxing the car alot easier too because polish always seems to build up between the gaps of the strips :)

I don't think smoothed bumpers suit silver Polos for some reason, I haven't seen one yet which looks nice with them smoothed.

Fair enough not wanting to be 'scene', it is your car after all 8)

100% agree, and I would like a smooth rear but would look weird only being smoothed at the rear wouldn't it?

But yeah smooth silver polo bumpers up front looks empty I think, best color I think is red for smooths..

But if we was all the same it would be boring and the forum would die away, that's why I love this forum, good ideas and discussions. Not I HATE YOUR BOOT, as other forums would say. Cough (clubpolo) cough ha!

Pretty sure I can't do much else now.....?????

9N's look better smoothed I reckon....
