Yep these bulbs will fit but Philips Ultinon 6000k are not street legal in the UK. Only worth noting if this bothers you.

Read this page if you want to know more about them.

Be careful when replacing them. Don't be too forceful or you'll snap the adjusters like I did. :(

Ive not done hid foglights on my Polo but I did do them on my Merc and to be honest they look nice as they match the headlights but they are pretty cack in the fog. The beam dispersal and colour just doesnt seem to work with fog. I ended up taking them out.

All depends whats more important to you though, looks or functionality.

Looks are good which is why I want to do them, BUT... They need to work as fog lights incase I ever needed them lol I'll probably give it a miss cos you can't actually use fogs unless it's foggy so it'd only be for meets/photos etc.

You may be better off getting one of the whiter looking halogen bulbs then. At least that way the dispersal will be correct with the foglamp lens and they will look a closer match to you headlights that standard halogen.

If you dont want to pay for expensive Philips or Osram ones, these seem to have good reviews.

Oh brain fart, are our fog bulbs H3 or H7, I cant remember?
Heres the H7 if I got it wrong first time!

Quick glance at both I think there H7 dude cos I bought H3 LEDs back along and didn't fit, from memory I think it's H7 with the 2 pin as apposed to the 1 pin with a wire. I'll check when I next get chance
but thanks mate :-)

No worries. Its a bit tragic being so into light bulbs, but I do the majority of my driving in the dark so they are actualy pretty improtant to me. The hids I mentioned I have in my E55 and they did make a big difference to the brightness plus they weren't the £130 per bulb Mercedes wanted.

£130 for a bulb thats crazy! I wouldnt pay that much for a Kidney let alone a bulb

I went for these in my old GTI with LED Sidelights & H1 Osram 5000K nightbreakers, great combination and good quality too

Yeah well welcome to the wonderful world of AMG ownership, hence shes kept for weekends now and Ive gone back to a Polo 6n2 after nearly ten years away for commuting. Ive been trying to remeber why I sold my Polo GTi in the first place and I cant remeber. Its was only 18months old when I got rid of her, but I did change cars fairly frequently back then.

Anyway talking of sidelights, Ive just put some uber bright LED ones in. Put to shame all the other LED ones Ive tried before.

Heres a link

Ill try to put some photos up if I get a chance, but seriously they are BRIGHT!
