Trottagti wrote:Yeah 100% correct girls, I need the played out recaro cs seats and the dished bbs rm's and smooth the bumpers then bang. But as we all know from Bruces price is wright, what do points make? PRIZES lol...
I sound like such a hypocrite actually because i absolutely fell in love with one of the Polos there and couldn't help myself! ......Which had BBS and smoothed bumpers but had an amazing re-trim.

With yours i think it's because it is unique which obviously is frowned upon???? Yours totally stood out and it was so hard getting pics because there were always so many people around it!..... That is a good thing! 8)

Want to buy my played out RS'?

Agree with what's been said, yours clearly stands out from all the other polo's there. If you had 6000 posts on edition I think it possibly would be different.

Like Ben said, don't fall out with it over one show. There's plenty more to come, that aren't as snobby.

Plus you've just put all that hard work and effort into making it gleaming. Silly boy if you sell it now lol

Looks amazing.

As everyone has said, don't worry about it. Just take pride in what you have acheived. It's not you it's just if your not part of the "Scene" then it won't win as the judges are very biased.

Keep doing your thing and you will win something.

And I got a feature car photographer and freelance wrighter wanting to feature my car in a couple of magazines so I'm sorting that out ATM. Also my box is defiantly making some noises and the bottom of the box is covered in oil so I think some kind of seal has gone. Really need it looking at soon so it's booked in for Monday at Taylors......

Only makes a grinding catching noise at like 10-25 mph and tuen nothing and sometimes not all the time? Could it be just no oil in the box causing gear related catching, not all bad noises.!??

To me it sounds like gear linkage but I may be wrong (doesn't happen often though) :-).
