REMAPPED 0-60 TIME
Just wondering whats the standard 0-60 time compared with a remapped 0-60?
Re: REMAPPED 0-60 TIME
Standard 8.3
Mapped anywhere between high 5s to low 7s depending on the map and other mods

whats it like for putting the power down with a good map though? I had the tt 225 and a ibiza cupra pd160 before hand both felt alot better off the line than my standard polo gti. will remapping it kill my traction?

It wont kill your traction provided your running on good rubber, investing in a good set of tyres is always a good thing.lee gti 88 wrote:Cheers guys thats the sort of info im afterwhats it like for putting the power down with a good map though? VW under powered the GTI as standard so running 190-200bhp on a stage 1 map wont cause you any problems
PD160 Ibiza Cupra's are animals when mapped, mate had his done on the weekend at P-Torque and pulled 205bhp & 306 ft lbs of torque

Yeah they are great little cars
Just out of curiosity why did you go for a Polo GTI and not the Ibiza Cupra 20V?
Not dissing the Polo because I love them but the Cupra's are better value for money, more power & better brakes too

Purely for insurance reasons the cupra went upto £2895.00 to which i refused to pay after paying £2400 origionally. Must admit i prefer the look of the polo and the interior, deffo dont like the mpg after being used to around 40tho!

Looks very nice mate
I agree the Polo is a better looking car and the attention to detail & quality is far better with Volkswagens, Seats are great value for money though and I like the way they kit out their cars with performance goodies
